Fair usage guidelines for unlimited plans
Our unlimited hosting plans offer unlimited disk space and bandwidth for normal website usage. This means you can host your website files, images, databases, and email without worrying about specific storage quotas or data transfer limits. However, "unlimited" does not mean infinite or unrestricted usage. All unlimited plans are subject to our Fair Usage Policy to ensure optimal performance for all customers on our shared hosting platform.
Our Fair Usage Policy ensures that all customers receive excellent service by preventing any single user from adversely affecting server performance. The policy applies to shared hosting plans and defines reasonable limits on resource consumption. Your website should be used for its intended purpose - hosting a legitimate website with normal traffic patterns. We monitor resource usage to maintain optimal performance for all users sharing the same server infrastructure.
While we offer unlimited storage and bandwidth, there are practical limits on CPU usage, memory consumption, and concurrent processes. Typically, websites should not exceed 25% CPU usage over a 5-minute period, use more than 1GB RAM simultaneously, or run more than 25 concurrent processes. These limits ensure fair resource distribution among all users. Websites exceeding these limits may experience temporary restrictions or require upgrade to VPS hosting.
Acceptable usage includes normal websites, blogs, small e-commerce sites, portfolios, and business websites with regular traffic. You may store website files, databases, images, videos for your website, and email accounts. Acceptable usage means your website serves its intended audience without causing server performance issues. Most standard websites, including WordPress sites, online stores, and business websites fall well within acceptable usage parameters.
We continuously monitor server performance and resource usage to ensure optimal service for all customers. Our automated systems track CPU usage, memory consumption, disk I/O, and network traffic patterns. If unusual activity is detected, our technical team investigates and may contact you to discuss optimization or upgrade options. We aim to work with customers to resolve issues before taking any restrictive actions.
Violations include using hosting for file storage/backup, running resource-intensive applications, cryptocurrency mining, excessive automated processes, or any usage that degrades server performance. First-time violations typically result in a warning and assistance with optimization. Repeated violations may lead to account suspension, requirement to upgrade to VPS hosting, or in extreme cases, account termination. We always prefer to work with customers to find suitable solutions.
